I really wanted pigment to work for us, i went into it feeling hopeful. The cleaner parts of basic planning were fine, but once we started trying to reflect how our business actually thinks about scenarios and custom logic, it started to feel restrictive.

What got frustrating was that small changes often turned into much bigger efforts than expected. We kept running into situations where the answer seemed to be a workaround, and after a while it just felt like we were bending our process around the tool instead of the tool helping us model the way we needed.
Support was decent and people were responsive enough, so this wasn’t really about service. It was more that the product didn’t give us the flexibility we expected, and that left the team feeling stuck. I can see it working better for simpler planning setups, but for us it ended up being more stressful than useful

I really wanted to like pigment.is, and there are definitely a few parts that seem nice once you find them. But i kept feeling unsure if I was in the right place or doing things the right way, and I could’ve used a bit more guidance or reassurance while navigating. It took me longer than expected to find what I needed, which made the whole experience feel more confusing than simple. Maybe it gets easier after using it for a while, but my first impression was that it wasn’t as user-friendly as I hoped

I’ve been using pigment.is for a bit now, and ... yeah, I’m happy with it so far. The price feels fair for what you get, and it’s definitely saved me some time. It’s not perfect, but for the money, I’d say it’s worth it.

The docs did help me get up and running, so I can’t really complain too much, but some sections felt a little thin and I was, well, I ended up guessing my way through a few parts. A couple more real examples would’ve made a big difference. Overall they’re okay, just not as clear as I’d hoped.

I reached out because I was having trouble with my forecast, but support took forever to get back to me and the issue still isn’t fixed. Maybe this was just one bad experience, but if a planning tool can’t help sort out something like forecasting in a reasonable time, it makes it hard to feel confident using it...

Pigment works fine overall, but i kind of regret expecting something more innovative. It looks nicer than a lot of planning tools, but once I started using it, it felt similar to what’s already out there. Not bad, just not as new or different as I’d hoped

We’ve been using Pigment for workforce planning, and it’s been useful to have all the headcount planning in one place instead of spread across a bunch of files. It’s a decent tool and does the job, just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve.

I don’t know if it’s just my luck, but this keeps breaking at the worst possible times. There have been way too many outages lately, and every time I actually need to use it, it feels like I’m the one stuck dealing with the mess. It’s gotten frustrating and feels unusable right now.

I tried pigment.is when I was looking for a few quick color ideas, it didn’t really click for me. If you’re the kind of person who likes exploring and doesn’t mind figuring out the interface as you go, you might have a better time with it. But for me, the buttons and menus felt a little unclear, and I kept clicking things without being totally sure what had changed. Some parts of the site do look polished, and I can see the appeal, but when I just want to make a palette without overthinking it, it felt more frustrating than helpful. I ended up giving up after a while because I felt like I was wrestling with the layout instead of playing with colors.

pigment has been decent overall, and I can see why teams use it, but I’d warn anyone setting it up to pay close attention to the security and permissions side. It took me longer than expected to figure out who could view or edit certain things, and the settings aren’t always as obvious as they should be.
I do like that you can control access specifically, but that level of detail can get messy fast, especially when adding new users. It’s not a bad tool, but I’d definitely double-check permissions carefully before rolling it out widely.

The tool itself seems like it could be useful, but getting started was a bit of a mess for us. There were a lot of steps, some stuff wasn’t super clear, and we had to reach out to support a few times just to get the basic setup done. I expected it to be smoother, especially for a product like this.

We did get Pigment up and running in the end, so that’s good!!! But the implementation took longer than we expected. I thought the charts would help, but they just made things more confusing. They were reeeally hard to read and didn’t feel helpful at all.

I had a small issue and support helped me out fast, which was nice because I was already in the middle of doing three other things and somehow also thinking about what to make for dinner. They were friendly, got straight to the point, and my problem was fixed without a lot of back and forth. it was a smooth experience.

I’ve been using it for a bit now, and the planning has been accurate overall. Most of the plans lined up well with what actually happened, with just a few small misses here and there. Nothing major, and it’s been dependable enough that I’d feel comfortable trusting it for regular planning.

This dashboard is kind of a pain in the ass. It feels cluttered and confusing, and I keep wasting time hunting around for basic stuff that should be easy to find.

We started using pigment to pull data together from a few different tools, and overall it’s been solid. I’ll admit I felt a bit pressured to get it set up quickly since our team was waiting on it, and the setup took longer than we expected. A few error messages were also kind of vague, which made troubleshooting frustrating at times. But once we got the connections working, it ran smoothly and has saved us a lot of manual updating.

My snap judgment after using it: the workflow gets messy fast. Tasks are hard to keep track of, and passing things off to someone else feels more clunky than it should.
